Answer: No Error
In August 2016, two giant panda cubs were born at the Schà¶nbrunn Palace Zoo in Austria.
Their mother, name Yang Yang, is on loan from China as a symbol of cooperation and
good relations among the two countries. Their new home is the Tiergarten which is
part of the Schà¶nbrunn Palace Zoo on an edge of Vienna. The temperatures are
carefully controlled to keep them comfortably. The zoo’s pandas are popular: every day
thousand of visitors spend time watching them as they play. There is often a queue to
get in at feeding time to watch them munching on bamboo shoots, carrots, apples and
special high-fibre biscuits. Each of them consume about 20kg of bamboo a day, and, to
provide this, an area of the zoo has been converted to cultivate sufficient food for his
needs. The exhibition also uses displays and interactive boards to educate both adults
and children about the urgent need to protect and conserve these endangering animals.
It is hoped that in time there will be more baby giant pandas to add to the attraction!
